George manages The Leadership at the Peak Program, a program that focuses exclusively on the demands of senior-most leaders in business, industry, and government. In addition, George trains in Center for Creative Leadership’s flagship program, the Leadership Development Program, the African-American Leadership Program, and serves as custom program faculty.
Prior to joining the Center, George served eighteen years as an educator. His education experience included coaching, a high school principal-ship, reformer & consultant. His “Block Scheduling” school reform model is still being used throughout the nation.
He served as a human resource manager for the Deluxe Corporation; an independent consultant for diversity training, leadership development and teambuilding; and executive pastor of a local church.
His community service includes a two-term appointment to the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, Faith Partners board, and the Ronald McDonald House board.
George was recognized in Who’s Who in Black Colorado Springs, a recipient of the NAACP Innovative Education Program Award and Society of Human Resource’s Pinnacle Award for outstanding business and education partnerships.
George holds an undergraduate degree in U.S. History and graduate degree in education from Colorado State University and is working on his Ph.D. in “leadership and change” through Antioch University. He enjoys time with his wife, Peggie, their three children and two grandchildren.
